The Golden Stroll - Interactive Walking Tour
What is the Golden Stroll?
The Golden Stroll interactive walking tour brings Golden’s history to life through a series of videos you can watch by scanning QR codes along the Rotary Trail. There are 2 routes to stroll, the Reflections Loop, a longer journey featuring 15 video stops, will take you down the Kicking Horse and through the forest up to Reflection Lake Ridge. The Confluence Walk, is the shorter stroll featuring 6 video stops, venturing along the river to Confluence Park.
As you walk, you’ll hear stories of the hardworking settlers who built this town, explore its deep connections to the land, and learn about the people who shaped its identity. From community traditions to remarkable resilience, each stop reveals a new layer of Golden’s story. Take your time, engage your senses, and enjoy this journey through the heart of Golden’s past and present.

The Strolls

The Reflections Loop
The Reflections loop takes you through urban forests and along the Kicking Horse River, as well as to some of the most scenic viewpoints you’ll find in town. If you’re looking for an in-depth dive into what makes Golden special, this is the loop for you. It takes about an hour and a half to complete, plus any additional time you choose to spend at each stop.
